Anne Knudsen has 25 years working as an executive recruiter. Anne started her working career after college in retail management, working for some of the largest specialty retail companies in the United States. In her retail management capacity, Anne developed her recruiting and interview skills. When she decided to leave retail, she joined the national recruiting firm S.R. Clarke.
Anne specialized in Commercial Construction and Real Estate Development, working in the Mid-Atlantic. During this time, she worked with some of the largest companies in the region and cultivated lasting relationships with the executives and hiring authorities. During the building downturn Anne was offered a top recruiting position with one of the largest Electrical Contractors in the nation M.C. Dean. After several successful years at MCD, she contracted with Kerns & Associates moving back to her roots.
Anne's detailed approach to her business was appreciated by her clients and candidates and is validated by her long relationships and repeat business with both clients and candidates. Having the desire to open her own company Anne started ARK Recruiting Solutions with her longtime partner in 2018, focusing on Commercial Construction and Real Estate Development in the Mid-Atlantic. Today Anne's approach to her business makes ARK Recruiting solutions a successful boutique recruiting firm and a favorite with clients and candidates in the Mid-Atlantic.

He worked for several national firms, was responsible for large geographic regions and had up to 250 dire
Rick Knudsen has 10+ years experience in executive recruitment in several major geographical markets in the United States. After graduating from Illinois State University, Rick started a management career that lasted over two decades. He worked for several national firms, was responsible for large geographic regions and had up to 250 direct reports. Rick decided to join S.R. Clark after being actively recruited by the owner and had a desire to do executive search.
Rick was given the Chicago market and surrounding Mid-West states as his territory and built it from the ground up. Rick had several large local clients and several national Real Estate Developers keeping him very busy. The projects varied from industrial coal plants, automotive assembly, to high rise office. During the downturn in 2007 S.R. Clarke began to contract as a company and Rick returned to his past management career until he had an opportunity to join Kerns and Associates as a Talent Coordinator.
After three successful years, Rick along with his longtime partner decided to open their own firm, ARK Recruiting Solutions to focus on their relationships with longtime clients and candidates in both the commercial construction and real estate development sectors. ARK Recruiting Solutions opening was very successful and they continue to grow towards the firm’s goal to become one of the premier boutique search firms in the Mid-Atlantic.
